Potts & Plants is run by Kay Potts, who provides a garden consultancy, plant design and planting package.

We offer bespoke ideas and designs to create a practical and aesthetically pleasing outside space to match your requirements.

Whether your garden is a newly landscaped blank canvas or an already established garden to adapt, we deliver an appealing planting solution for all.

Potts & Plants also provide garden maintenance and seasonal garden clearance.

Background


I started Potts & Plants to help friends and family with gardening in 2016 after having my two children. And I haven't looked back since!

I have a wealth of botanical and horticultural knowledge, firstly from my mum who is an avid gardener, to setting up a private client base offering plant and garden maintenance in Cheltenham and surrounding area.

Through networking, I met other self employed gardeners and assisted as part of a team on garden projects such as:-

  • planting schemes 
  • tree surgery
  • estate maintenance 
  • woodland maintenance
  • garden clearance

Because of the pandemic and the cultural shift to garden centres, in May 2021 I helped on a part-time basis at Stuart Shackell Horticultral Supplies. It is a great tree, shrub and plant nursery based in Little Shurdington, Cheltenham and my plant and tree knowledge expanded accordingly.

In March 2022, I changed my focus to offer consultancy, design and planting as my individual niche business.

I love not only providing planting ideas through horticulture, but meeting clients and offering practical advice to make your space a beautiful setting for you to spend time in for the future.
Whether a newly landscaped garden, to well established grounds requiring additional structure or colour; every garden will get the attention it deserves, to make the most of the space and unlock it's potential.
